SSN Institutions

Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering (SSN CE), founded by Dr. Shiv Nadar, Chairman, HCL Technologies, is a philanthropic venture to give back to the society that nurtured him. SSN CE has been highly ranked and very reputed educational institution in Tamil Nadu, India. The institution, with their diverse and dynamic community of students offers a distinctive combination of some of the finest graduate, undergraduate and research programs, accomplished faculty, world-class facilities and a residential campus set on a sprawling 250 acres of sylvan surroundings. SSN has accredited by NAAC with A++ grade. National Board of Accreditation (NBA, AICTE, New Delhi) has accredited 7 UG and 4 PG programs.

Recently, SSN was awarded by EDU-RAND for being ranked seventh among all private engineering colleges in India and is ranked 45th in Engineering Category and 89th among all educational institutions in India rankings by NIRF, MHRD. The state-of-the-art infrastructure with over 1.8 million square feet of buildings; Spacious hostels, sports facilities, and faculty quarters within the campus. A student body of 4300+ students, 500 Ph.D. scholars and 280 faculty members, 75% of whom are Ph.Ds.

About The Department

The Department of Mathematics has 14 faculty members all of whom are doctorates, working on diverse areas such as Algebra, Image Processing, Queuing Theory, Stochastic Process, Graph Theory, Fluid Mechanics, Harmonic Analysis, Topology etc. The department organizes various workshops, FDPs and conferences periodically sponsored by SSN Trust and funding agencies. The department is a recognized research centre under Anna University, Chennai and around 40 students are pursuing their Ph.D.

About The Conference

Computational engineering is a new and rapidly growing multidisciplinary field that applies advanced computational methods and analysis to engineering practice. Computational Engineering englobes fundamental engineering and science, and advanced knowledge of mathematics, algorithms, and computer languages. The purpose of this conference is an earnest attempt to create the right interface for the exchange and dissemination of new ideas and techniques among the young researchers in various fields of Mathematics and Computational Engineering.
